Siberian cat Calina with kittens Elmo and Elu a few hours after giving birth on August 12, 2011
Sorry we’ve been a bit tardy in updating all our friends. Yes, Calina did give birth to two kittens on August 12, 2011 – in the middle of the night of course!
Judee was the midwife and reports that Calina was a great first-time mum, although disconcerted at being separated from Mari and Harley, who kept vigil at the bedroom door.
The first kitten born was a grey male, whom we have named Elu.
The second was a colourpoint male, born 40 minutes later, who will be known as Elmo.
