Siberian queens Hoku (13 mo old) and Ksana (12 mo old) high on a climbing post, 26 September 2016
You might remember Ksana, who joined us two months ago from Starport Siberians in New Hampshire.
We wondered how she would cope when it came time to meet our other adult cats and it was definitely interesting to watch. There was very little animosity and, in fact, Ksana stood her ground with all the other cats.
She is one month younger than Hoku and we thought they might be rivals, especially as they are both close to breeding age. But after a few days they became friends. That’s not to say they don’t wrestle and chase each other around the house, but it’s all in fun.
This is great, lovely to see them so content in others company. It looks a bit like the Seacliffe masthead next generation.
