Siberian kitten Beth goes for a walk by the Wellington waterfront.
We love to see our cats enjoying life while staying safe.
Staying safe doesn’t necessarily mean keeping your cat indoors (although that’s what we do), or even in a fenced yard (although we also sell a great product to cat-proof your fence).
Cats can be trained to walk on a leash, as demonstrated in this photo from Helen, an IT professional who lives in a central Wellington apartment.
Helen loves Wellington, and so does her Seacliffe kitty Beth (a seven-month-old seal lynx point originally named Indigo).
They go for walks every day, and Beth knows that when her leash comes out of the cupboard it’s time for some outdoor fun.
Helen sent us a great series of photos of Beth exploring the city. Here are a few of them:

Beth in Civic Square: “How’s my camouflage working?”

Beth in the Botanic Gardens: “Which way shall we go today?”

Beth in Civic Square: “I prefer the shade, thanks.”

Beth at the Michael Fowler Centre: “I don’t chase birds, but I do like climbing trees.”
This adorable post of my wee girl <3 We went to the Botanical Gardens for a couple of hours in the afternoon and she's been tuckered out for the rest of the day. A great holiday weekend so far, wishing the same to everyone else.
