During yesterday’s ‘first picnic’ for the J Litter, I recorded this video.
My favourite part is near the end, when the kittens’ mum Cecilia subjects the blue tabby kitten (J4) to a little ‘tough love’ with her back legs. This is not uncommon, and seems to do the kittens no harm.
But then you’ll see Judee reach over to pat Cecilia who immediately changes to licking J4’s head! (I wasn’t kicking, I was licking!)
And here’s a photo from the same session. I was on the floor, trying to get some individual photos, when Judee asked me to hand her the camera. J4 had decided to snuggle up to me. Great photo of J4!
