The kittens turned 5 (weeks) yesterday, and what a change there has been in the past week.
- Alexander and Alfie are eating solid food (Alex has an enormous appetite).
- All three kittens jog over to greet us when we open the nursery door.
- Father Harley has been spending a few hours a day with the kittens and they all get along great.
- The kittens have started exploring a few rooms beyond the nursery and are getting quite nimble. Alex no longer walks, however. He runs everywhere, with the occasional leap thrown in.
- They love to play with each other, and with a couple of small balls that they bat around.

Now your cat can roam - at home
Following these bundles of cuteness from afar – bet they are way more fun to watch than TV! What does Mari think about it all?
Hi Steve: Well, Mari is being her usual aloof self. She showed little interest in going into the nursery during the first few weeks (unlike Harley who couldn’t wait to see his offspring). Then when she finally met the kittens she did a bit of hissing, which they ignored. She’s getting more tolerant now but, being a rescued cat, she has a few issues that we’ll never understand. But we love her!
