Siberian kitten Elu leaves the nest for the first time, aged 23 days, Sept 4 2011
Day 23, another milestone for our little Siberian kittens Elu and Elmo as they both leave the nest for the first time.
Elu was first to scale the wall of the cardboard box that has been their home since birth. He quickly found his feet and began exploring our guest room – even stopping for a little grooming.
Elmo followed, crawling along the floor like a commando until he realized he was safe and sat down for photos.
