Today was a big day for the J Litter: they had their first ‘picnic’ outside the nest in which they were born 20 days ago.

We spread the blanket on the nursery floor, and one-by-one they took their first steps towards freedom. 🙂

Naturally, they stayed close to their mother Cecilia most of the time.

The ‘first picnic’ was also an opportunity to get some individual photos. Taking photos of moving kittens isn’t easy (especially with my lack of skill), but at least these will give you an idea of their appearance.

As for their names, we will work on those over the next few days – matching your suggestions (thank you!) to each kitten’s personality.
