The kittens turned 4 weeks old yesterday, and you can see the big change in their appearance compared to a week ago. Their ears are standing up!
What’s more, the kittens are now dashing out of the nest to greet us when we open the nursery door, usually led by Barney or Biko.
Yesterday Biko climbed into the litter box and was soon joined by the others, shoulder to shoulder. They instinctively know what it’s for and are all using it now.
Barney and Baxter started eating from a saucer today. Big appetites too. The others seem to think Mum’s milk is still the best though (we’ll see how long Calina lets them think that!).
On Saturday, Harley met his offspring for the first time. As usual, he was extremely gentle, stretching out a paw to draw each kitten close to him so he could lick them.
Enjoy the photos!
