Featured Siberian kitten: Ariana

Ariana was the first-born of Calina’s second litter and in some ways she’s still number one – at least when it comes to trying new things.

She is the cat who explores farthest, plays hardest and generally likes to do her own thing.

Come to think of it, she’s quite like her mother, Calina, in personality.

We now have a routine at night. I gather up each of the kittens and their mum to put them to bed in the nursery. Then I look through the house and finally ask Judee: “Have you seen Ariana?” A few minutes later she’ll emerge from some hiding place and allow herself to be scooped up and sent to bed.

These photos were taken by Janette who visited us at the weekend, and was quite taken with Ariana.
