Ceclia (Cici) gave birth in the evening of 6 April, starting around 5pm and finishing after midnight. This is her second litter.
The father is Harley and this is his sixth litter.
The litter comprises two colourpoints, a blue tabby and a black tabby with white.
All the kittens and their mother were checked over by Russell and Janice from The Vets today and given clean bills of health.
Now’s a great time to send us your suggestions for kitten names starting with G. We usually name the kittens after we get to know them a bit and confirm their sexes.
And here’s Cici’s ultrasound from 10 days before she gave birth. Kind of like looking at a human ultrasound isn’t it? You really have to know what to look for!
Another holiday litter! I find it hard to suggest names without knowing them but some ideas that feel like they’d fit with previous ones you’ve chosen: Gwen, Gretl, Gulliver, Giles, George. A lot of the G names coming to mind are very Germanic.
Thanks so much Helen! Yes, we like to get to know the kittens a bit before bestowing names. Also good to have their sexes confirmed first – as we’ve learned from experience. Right now there are a couple that even our vet wasn’t confident about. So they may get “unisex” names. 🙂
Hi my name is Sarah the owner of Foster these are my name suggestions Grace, Gemma, Gregory, George, Ginger, Grumpy, Georgia, Gelato and Greg. Thanks.
If you ended up going with non-person names, then I imagine the moniker “Guilty” would suit all of them at one time or another 😉
Too right!
Thanks Sarah! Judee loves gelato, so you may be on to something. Say “Hi” to Foster for us!
Hi! I’ve already suggested Gandalf (the grey), but also have a few more – Gus, Guster, Gloria, Garfunkle, Garfield, Gin, Ghost, Gypsy, Gordon, Gary, Goofy.

We have today named the four kittens Gustav (Gus), Gabby, Georgey and Gracie.
Their eyes are open now, so we hope to get some better photos of each kitten soon.
