It’s a big day. We have new photos of the D Litter, and the kittens have names!
The kittens are 16 days old, and Judee got some photos which I’ll post over the next few days.
The female colourpoint has been named Daphne and the male blue tabby with white is Dougal. We’ll call them “Daph and Doug” in honour of Judee’s cousin and her husband who have been extremely kind to us over the years. With just two D Litter kittens – a male and a female – the names were irresistible.
The kittens have had a few excursions out of the nest and enjoy crawling about, although never far from their mum Calina. In another week or so, we’ll lower the draw bridge so they can explore the nursery room at will.
They’re both gaining weight very nicely (not much competition for mother’s milk when there are only two of them).
