Yesterday I finished building a 2-metre climbing post for one of our cat buyers. Pico and Pav lost no time checking it out.

The P kittens are growing up and will be leaving us in the next few days. Judee is busy matching their Fel d1 levels with families on our waiting list.
I snapped this photo today as the P kittens relaxed in our kitchen; it seems to be a favourite spot for all our cats.

The O Litter kittens are six months old and we’ve been receiving some lovely photos and stories from their new homes. Here’s an update on Oscar, who now lives with Angela and her family in Wellington.

We take so many photos of Oscar as he’s like our little baby. He really is amazing and loved incredibly by us all.
We find it miraculous that he can be found sleeping on Olivia’s pillow during the day from time to time and then she can sleep on it at night with no signs of allergies at all. He is just perfect for her allergies and a real treasure.

Our two-year-old seal lynx point dam Ksana will soon be giving birth to her third litter.
This is her first mating with Harley, a blue lynx (tabby) point with white.

Siberian kitten Palinki at nine weeks old, 24 Sep 2017
The four P Litter kittens turn 12 weeks old tomorrow (Saturday 14 Oct) and we will begin their allergen testing in a few days.
Here’s a recent photo of Palinki, the only female in the litter. It was taken while she and her brothers were all crowded onto the top platform of a climbing post.

Pingu and the rest of the P Litter were perched on the 2-metre climbing post when I took this photo about two weeks ago.
10-week-old Siberian kitten Pavlov with his mother Hoku, 3 Oct 2017
The P Kittens are 10 weeks old and very active – which means they get very sleepy too.
These photos were taken two days ago in one of the kittens’ favourite spots. Often we’ll find all four kittens plus mum curled up here.
In this case, Pavlov had mum all to himself late in the evening. The photos are a bit grainy as I didn’t want to disturb the cats by using a flash.

Siberian cat Remy at 3 years old, 24 Jan 2016
Here’s another of the birthday cats who turned five years old yesterday. Remy was originally named Barney and is one of our very few ginger kittens.
Jeff reports:
Remy still loves going outside in his harness and lead – sometimes just for a wander around the house and garden, sometimes out for a walk around the neighbourhood. It’s not uncommon for passers-by to comment on how beautiful he is or how how unusual it is to see a man walking a cat. 🙂
He is such a lap cat – if either of us sit down in the lounge, especially with a blanket over the lap, he’s curling up in no time. We love it.
He always sleeps on the bed at night, usually by our legs – but during the colder months either of us may get a polite tap on the forehead during the night which means ‘I want to come under the blankets’. We lift them up by our head and in he comes!
He’ll signal it’s playtime by leading one of us to the closet where his toys are, and one his favourite is a simple ball of foil he can chase.
He greets us enthusiastically at the door whenever we come home, looking for cuddles.
Remy was an adorable kitten too, as you can see from the photo below.
