Dr Anna Giles listens to the heartbeat (sometimes hard to hear due to the purring).
This has been a big week for the K Litter kittens. On Wednesday they turned eight weeks old. And on Thursday they made their first car trip and first visit to The Vets.
The visit included a general health check, their first round of vaccinations and the all-important microchipping. We always get the chipping done on the first visit so that every subsequent vaccination or treatment can be recorded against the microchip number as a proof of identity – but microchipping is just a really sensible thing to do for any cat (or dog).

The kittens weren’t too fussed by the whole experience, but were happy to be home and eager to get out of the cage!

‘OK, you can open the door now.’
