Nala is the second-born kitten in the N Litter and the only tabby. Isn’t she adorable? I’m really pleased with her photos – you can see more of them on the Nala page.

At long last we have individual photos of the N Litter, taken a couple of days ago when they were five weeks old.

First up, here’s the first-born of the litter, the lovely Nougat. (We prefer to pronounce it with a silent “t”.)

See more photos on the Nougat page.

Announcing the O Litter

We’re surrounded by kittens! The O Litter was born just over three weeks ago, on 29 April.

Ksana gave birth to four kittens – all boys. The father is Felix.

The kittens are doing great and we’ll publish their individual photos over the next few days.

And this means it’s time to ask for your suggestions of O names, so feel free to post them in the comments are send them to us.

N Litter kittens at 5 weeks old

N Litter Siberian kittens at 5 weeks old, 21 May 2017

Today I sat down with the N Litter for some photos. They’re pretty active, having turned five weeks old today, but I thought they might hold still if I photographed them while they were eating. 🙂

This is actually their final meal at the communal plate. They are getting too big for it, and will now graduate to two plates, then to one bowl each when they’re a bit older.

In the next photos, you can see how Nadia (bottom right) likes to sample her siblings’ food by walking straight across the plate. Kittens have no concept of “going around” – they just take the shortest route! Continue reading

Introducing all five N Litter kittens

Yes, the N Litter kittens all have names finally. Thanks for helping us with your suggestions!

All the photos were taken when the kittens were two weeks old, and they are now just over four weeks old, so this weekend we’ll try to get some fresh photos.

The N kittens began eating solid food yesterday and they have the run of their nursery room, including their own little litter box.

Nuri was the 5th-born of the five N Litter kittens. These kittens turned four weeks old yesterday, but the photos are from when they were just two weeks old. So, they’re even cuter now. 🙂

Yes, the N kittens FINALLY have names. Thank you everyone who sent us suggestions!

Let’s start the introductions with Niko, a male seal lynxpoint who was fourth of the five kittens to be born.

At four weeks old, Niko was the largest of the litter, at 473g.

Flying cats!

Yesterday was an especially exciting today for Seacliffe Siberians, with two of our graduates in the air simultaneously.

Young Mira was flying from Auckland to her new home in Sydney, where she was given a new name: “Suki”.

And Beth, Wellington’s famous “cat on a leash”, was making her way to Barcelona via Dubai to rejoin her mom Helen on sabbatical.

Both kitties are now ensconced in their new homes and, as you can see from the photos, getting familiar with the important features of their surroundings.

Well, we’re hoping to catch some time this weekend to name the N Litter! Meantime, here are some photos of N3, a female blue lynxpoint kitten, taken almost two weeks ago.

I kind of liked this shot of her with her mom Cici, but you can seem some closeups of the baby on her own page.
